Christmas & New Year’s in Korea
Four very different sides of Korea, and a new year together.
Spend Christmas and New Year’s in Korea, moving through four very different sides of the country — from Seoul’s winter lights and historic neighbourhoods to Jeonju’s hanoks and food culture, Busan’s winter snacks, seaside streets and sauna, and Jeju’s winter coastlines and tangerine farms.
This is a celebration as much as it is a journey. There’ll be Christmas markets, hanbok and palaces, local food, Korean sauna culture, a hanok stay, experiences with our Korean hosts, plenty of time to wander, and a New Year’s Eve together in Seoul — ending the year with drinks, fireworks and a city full of lights.
Eighteen moments we’re looking forward to.
Eleven days, four cities.
Before you pack.
December & January in Korea sees extremely cold days — clear skies, breeze, possible snow and temperatures from -6°C to 6°C. Pack a padded jacket, warmers and comfortable walking shoes.
